Rockies Games This year several
DP clients got to enjoy the Colorado Rockies thanks to the generosity of Laurie and Jimmy Casas, who donated 20 tickets. Developmental
Pathways was able to coordinate the exchange of these tickets for some great seats. Group homes especially were encouraged
to take time away from their regular schedules and enjoy an afternoon of baseball at Coors Field. People from DP’s Supported
Living Services were also offered the opportunity to see a game and cheer on the team. Many of the people Pathways serves
are Rockies fans, and they jump at the opportunity to attend a game. The foundation provided money for refreshments, and
there were smiles all around as fans got to the stadium, found their seats and then were told they could pick out their treats
for the afternoon! It made the whole experience a great memory for all who attended.

The Villager 4/1/2004 Glory Weisberg
"Developmental
Pathways inaugural dinner a major benefit"
When Developmental Pathways decided to hold an awards dinner they initially
planned for a small roster of attendees, perhaps mainly the friends & relatives of the honorees and other clients involved
in their programs. When the reservations began streaming in, staff upped their expected counted, then closer to the date
when they called it in to the Hyatt DTC catering office.
The result was nearly 300 people, and an enthusiastic bunch
they were, loudly cheering and clapping for the three adults honored. They gave a standing ovation for the Plumery family
that was honored for establishing the Gary Plumery Foundation in memory of their developmentally disabled son, who reached
the age of 40 before succumbing to the complications of Down Syndrome. Gary worked at the McDonalds in Parker for 15 years.
